Helping women feel confident that there is a place for them to go even when they have issues relating to their ethnic minority
Feeling like you're a minority shouldn't mean that you feel alone and that there is no where to go to get information or help on an issue that relates to your specific minority as there are resources out there created to help you feel more empowered and positive.
Websites Offering Support:
Refugee council
supports refugees from the moment they arrive in the UK. They provide crisis advice and practical support, help them to integrate into their new communities and offer mental health counselling to help them come to terms with the trauma so many of them have experienced.
They are the only national organisation providing support to refugee children and young people who arrive in the UK alone.

MWN Helpline
Although their reach is primarily Muslim women, the helpline – 0800 999 5786 – will accept calls from and support women of any faith or no faith. For example, the culturally sensitive nature of the helpline could easily support Asian women of other faiths. Men who are concerned about women and girls should also call the helpline. If men and boys need support for example at risk of forced marriage, then they should also call the helpline.
Those calling the helpline are likely to fall into three categories depending on the type of help required:
* Callers who are in a crisis situation and need immediate help
* Callers wanting information about legal rights and / or help or support available
* Callers who want advice about a problem and want someone to talk to so they feel more confident and empowered to make decisions
