To help girls better understand when their gang is a positive influence and when its time to move on
Your gang can be closer than your family but in some gangs you have to do things you know you shouldn't be doing - either forced or you need to do things to fit in or stay part of the gang. Some gangs don't make you feel good about yourself. If you want help in finding a new gang that doesn't make you do things you don't want to or more friends outside the gang or have help in saying no to things you don't want to do then have a look at the resources below.
Websites Offering Support:

Youthscape
Even Princess Kate and Price William have been here….
Youthscape is passionate about seeing transformation in the lives of young people of all backgrounds. They have been supporting young people with their emotional, social and spiritual development in Luton since 1993, concentrating their efforts where there is most need and little or no other support available. This means working with young people who are in care or leaving care, those who are disengaging with the education system and who are at risk of becoming NEET, or those who are struggling with a range of social and emotional issues. Their approach in Luton involves delivering mentoring and therapeutic group work, specific courses, projects, art installations, alternative qualifications and detached work, a regular drop in cafe, residentials and Summer Camp. Each year they work in depth with over 400 of Luton’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged young people, and more widely with a further 8,000.

Out of the Shadows

This can be achieved with high quality training, inspiration presentations, 1:1 mentoring, workshops, consultancy service and online CPD that we provide.

DVIP Yuva Service
