It’s never easy when a marriage or relationship ends. Whatever the reasons are for the split — and whether it was your choice or not — the breakup of a relationship can turn your whole world upside down and trigger all sorts of painful and unsettling feelings.

Find ways to deal with the emotions following a breakup so you can restart life without that person as your boyfriend / partner / husband. Its also important to rebuild any lost confidence and find happiness in your new life circumstances.

It can be really useful to take sometime to learn from the experience - what did you like and dislike about the relationship, what did you like and dislike about the person...and importantly what did you like and dislike about the person you were in that relationship and what triggered those good and bad characteristics e.g. were you a happy partner, were you a moaner, were you bored, did you praise your partner, etc.

There are plenty of things you can do to get through this difficult time and move on. You can learn from the experience and grow into a stronger, wiser person ready to be a better partner next time or enjoy being single.
